On June 19, 2024, before 8:03 am, Sun An-jou and his agent, Chu Yi-ming, were found walking around the Xinyi District with a gun, claiming it was harmless and not dangerous. However, their actions caught the attention of the authorities, leading to a search at Sun An-jou's residence in Beitou where a gun, a dagger, and black powder suspected to be gunpowder were confiscated. Both were interrogated by the police, and Chu Yi-ming even posted on Instagram questioning the police procedures. When Sun An-jou and his agent were brought in by the police, Sun Peng and Di Ying cooperated and even woke Sun An-jou up. The search at their home revealed a gas gun, a dagger, and suspected gunpowder. The agent insisted the gun was not dangerous, but carrying such a weapon in public raised concerns. The incident is still under police investigation.
