Taiwanese actor Wang Po-Chieh was arrested for drunk driving and crashing into a tour bus on the afternoon of June 18, just three months after being involved in a physical altercation at a KTV gathering. According to CTi News website on June 18, 2024, at around 4 p.m. on the previous day in Taibao City, Chiayi County, near the Fumau Gas Station at Taibao Village, a fatal accident occurred where a 27-year-old police officer on his way to work crashed into a motorcycle making a turn. The 74-year-old female rider fell and was found in a state of OHCA (no breathing or heartbeat upon arrival) and was rushed to Chang Gung Hospital for emergency treatment but was pronounced dead.
