In an ongoing case, the vice captain surnamed Huang of the Criminal Bureau in Taoyuan has been accused of unlawfully colluding with informants while investigating a drug case. Last week, authorities searched Huang's office and brought him and five police officers from the Longtan Police Substation in Taoyuan in for questioning. The Longtan Police Substation clarified that the five officers were cooperating as witnesses in the drug case investigation and were not involved in the alleged collusion. Huang was required to pay a bail of 300,000 NT dollars after interrogation on charges of involvement in drug offenses, robbery, and leaking classified information.
