台中市烏日區一處民宅於2024年6月29日下午發生火災，81歲的林姓男屋主在火警中倒臥室成為焦屍。消防人員趕抵現場後於1樓中間臥室發現焦屍，火勢於下午2點30分撲滅，燃燒面積約50平方公尺。火警原因將由火調人員進行調查，警消人員目前正在現場處理。
