In Miaoli, the Chiba Hot Pot restaurant caught fire for the second time on June 20, 2024, resulting in a 390-ping building turning into ruins. The fire broke out around 5 a.m., and despite efforts by the fire department, it reignited during the investigation, leading to the complete destruction of the building.
