On June 14, 2024, a scam group impersonating financial expert 'Xie Jinhe' swindled 140 million in a year. The group used Facebook ads to lure people into investing, with one victim losing 35 million without any return. The police recently busted the group, led by a man named Wu, arresting 16 members for investigation and prosecution. The group resorted to violent methods to deceive people and even detained victims in a hotel until their accounts were flagged by authorities. A total of 32 victims lost over 140 million to this fraudulent scheme.

The first comprehensive book on the criminal justice system in the country was officially launched before Police Day.
