In an incident in South Sulawesi, Indonesia on July 2, a 36-year-old woman, Siriati, went missing after going out to buy medicine and visit her family. Her husband later found her swallowed by a 9-meter python in the jungle, causing distress. Siriati, a mother of five, was believed to have been attacked by the python, suffocated, and then devoured.
