In Dongshi, Chiayi County, a serious car accident occurred involving an ambulance from the Budai Fire Department crashing into two small vans at an intersection beneath the Taiwanese Highway 61. A man named Zheng, who works in the pet industry, brought his Corgi to a restaurant in Pingtung two years ago. While in the parking lot, Zheng and his Corgi were attacked by a Pit Bull owned by a man named Liao. The Pit Bull's attack left the Corgi severely injured, resulting in a legal case. On June 27, 2024, Lü Zhiming was prosecuted by the Kinmen District Prosecutor's Office.
