Taichung, as the second-largest city in Taiwan, is not only progressing with its existing green line and planned blue line metro systems but is also set to introduce a third metro line—the Orange Line. This nearly 30-kilometer line will run from Taichung Airport, through Taichung Station, to the Legislative Yuan Central Office, connecting the software park and major business districts.
