On June 29, 2024, in Taipei City's Zhongshan District, an elderly man around 90 years old, known as the ‘Scratch Master,’ was caught on camera scratching cars along the road with a key. Within a month, he damaged 4 cars, of which 2 were consecutively vandalized. The prosecutor charged him with vandalism, but the elderly man initially denied the accusations.
