On June 20, 2024, around 8 p.m., a passerby in Taichung's North District smelled a foul odor while passing through the passage between two community buildings on Yingshi Road. Upon inspection, they discovered the body of a woman lying on the ground, suspected to have been deceased for several days, prompting them to quickly alert the police.
