The European Central Bank's next interest rate cut is considered an easy decision by ECB policymaker Pierre Wunsch, but he emphasizes that further moves should only be made when inflation is clearly heading towards the 2% target. Despite recent figures showing stubborn wages and services price growth, Wunsch believes there is room for a second cut according to forecasts, but it is not urgent. The ECB may wait until September for new projections before making any decisions, as inflation is expected to oscillate around current levels, making it hard to cut again until a more decisive move towards 2% is visible.
