A 51-year-old man surnamed Lin went missing after diving for seaweed in the intertidal zone near Magang Fishing Port in Gongliao District, New Taipei City. Due to heavy rain, multiple landslides occurred on the Suhua Highway section 164k in Chongde on the evening of June 20th. The landslides caused road closures and flooding, restricting traffic to one lane.
