Utilizing technology for law enforcement in Taichung City, Chang Ting-hsuan revealed on June 13, 2024, the discovery of over 47,000 cases of tax evasion and vehicle violations. To track down tax evasion and violation vehicles, the Taichung City Government Local Tax Bureau installed license plate recognition systems at major intersections, using AI technology for law enforcement.
