On June 17, 2024, the Taiwanese stock market slightly fell by 8.19 points to 22,496.53 points, with net selling of NT$164.77 billion by major institutional investors after trading. Foreign investors shifted from three consecutive buying days to net selling of NT$159.38 billion, reducing holdings in insurance, shipping, and construction sectors. Notably, TSMC was among the top three stocks sold off. During the day, local proprietary traders and foreign investors sold off significantly.
