In Changhua, Taiwan, a man surnamed Zhang, who was 35 years old and unemployed, with a disability card, went out onto the streets with a kitchen knife last December. According to the latest news from CTV News website on June 27, 2024, at 9:00 PM, a 69-year-old man surnamed Wang collapsed by the shore while engaging in the practice of 'fishing by shining light on the sea' in the sea area behind Weiling Temple in Wude Village, Magong City, Penghu County. Upon arrival, rescue personnel found fishing gear such as fish cage, face mask, and hooks at the scene. Immediate emergency measures including VM (positive pressure assisted breathing), CPR, AED usage, and mechanical CPR (MCPR) were administered to Wang, who was in a state of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA). He was rushed to the Penghu Branch of Tri-Service General Hospital for emergency treatment at 9:29 PM and is currently fighting for his life.
