On June 25, 2024, at 3:48 am, in Taoyuan, a 73-year-old driver surnamed Chen, while parking his car in a parking lot, suddenly reversed and for unknown reasons accelerated, crashing into a wall. He was briefly trapped inside the car, and despite emergency treatment, he was pronounced dead. The silver car crashed into the wall, creating a large hole and causing extensive damage to both the car and the wall. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
